Physical literacy and long-term athlete development for hockey players

In May 2016, Active for Life editor-in-chief Richard Monette was invited by Hockey Manitoba to present to the coaches and administrators who were attending the organization’s annual general meeting.

The presentation was recorded. In the four videos below, you can watch Richard speak about the importance of physical literacy and long-term athlete development in the context of developing hockey players.

Editor’s note: We can’t embed the first video here because it includes 41 seconds of TV footage that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has made a copyright claim to. They’ve allowed the footage to stay in the video, but have restricted the video to YouTube only; we can’t include it here. So please watch the first part over there; you can also watch parts 2 through 4 at YouTube if you want, or you can come back here for those.
