Hannah Bayfeld-Tarasco is a writer, advocate, and outdoor enthusiast whose work is grounded in a deep commitment to disability inclusion and adapted physical activity. With an undergraduate degree in physical literacy, Hannah moved to Edmonton to pursue a master of arts focused on qualitative research in adapted physical activity and inclusive recreation spaces. Her graduate studies strengthened a lifelong love of writing, and allowed her to merge storytelling with research. Hannah currently works at The Steadward Centre for Personal & Physical Achievement, where she helps connect individuals and families with inclusive programming that reflects their interests, goals, and lived experiences. Outside of work, she loves exploring the outdoors with her two dogs and can often be found in the Alberta mountains—camping, hiking, or skiing—or nestled at home crafting, reading, and playing music. Hannah strongly believes that sport and physical activity are a right, not a privilege, and that meaningful inclusion begins with listening, creativity, and meeting people where they're at.
