Active for Life is thrilled to announce the launch of The Canada Games Activity Challenge.

The Canada Games are Canada’s largest multi-sport event for our nations’ best youth athletes ages 13-18. In 2017 the Games turn 50, and to celebrate, some of the country’s leading physical activity champions and advocates, including Active for Life, have come together to create a fun activity challenge for kids in Grades K-6/7) to play along.

From the official website:

“The Canada Games Activity Challenge (CGAC) is a fun online activity tracking app for kids and resource website for teachers to encourage healthy habit-forming behaviour. The challenge creates healthy habits by rewarding daily physical activity. Kids are a part of their classroom team and learn fundamental movement skills at school. Then, they can practice at home, each time earning valuable rewards! You can cheer them on from the sidelines or get in the game yourself.”

The Canada Games Activity Challenge starts in February 2017.
