Coaches. We’ve all had them. Some of us have been them. And National Coaches Week, which runs from September 19 through September 27, is our opportunity to show our appreciation.
It’s an initiative of the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC), along with their provincial and territorial coaching representatives. They want your help so we can all recognize the coaches who make a difference in your lives and communities. Use the hashtag #ThanksCoach on Facebook and Twitter to acknowledge your coaches and to share your experiences with them.
There are events across the country celebrating those who choose to coach, a practice which is typically voluntary and often unappreciated. Visit the website to find out what’s going on in your province or territory.
And if you’ve ever given a thought to becoming a coach yourself, the CAC supports you with Get Coaching tutorials, and the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is running additional free coaching workshops during National Coaches Week.
