Learn about physical literacy at one-day conference in Hamilton
If you are a parent, coach, teacher, instructor, or program provider living in the Hamilton, Ontario and surrounding area, definitely consider checking out this year’s Physical Literacy Summit running on September 27th at the Hamilton Convention Centre.
With an exciting lineup made up of many of the top Canadians working in the field of physical literacy – Dr. Dean Kreillaars and Dr. James Mandigo will give keynote addresses – you’ll walk away with some great knowledge and information to help you, your child, or the children you work with, develop movement skills.
The night preceding the Summit there will be a free talk called Essential Elements for Player Development: Examples from Soccer and Hockey (PDF) which will be a great opportunity for parents and coaches to ask the experts about the changes happening in youth sports.
And if you’re up for some physical activity of your own, they are kick-starting Thursday’s events with an optional 5K Terry Fox Run. An invigorating start to an educational day!
