Molly Miller

This Canada Games athlete gives back with Walk a Mile in Someone’s Shoes

Featuring 19 sports, over 150 events and a major arts and cultural festival, the 2019 Canada Winter Games will welcome up to 3,600 athletes, managers and coaches and more than 20,000 visitors.

Meet Team BC cross-country skier Molly Miller. Molly has a busy schedule ahead. She will race five times over the course of six days and participate in the team relay on the final day of competition. She will also take part in the closing ceremonies on March 3.

Walk a Mile in Someone’s Shoes

Molly is an athlete who cares. She is making a difference globally and locally. Molly teamed-up with a local business in her hometown of Kimberley B.C and organized a walkathon that raised $7000.  The funds were used to buy and ship footwear to Haiti and India. Locally, it provided shoes to school-aged children in need at Kimberley’s schools.

Congratulations to Molly and all the other athletes that give back.

The 2019 Canada Games will continue through to March 3rd. Here is a link to the schedule and results.
