Jen Goeres is the founder and owner of WordPLAY and has dedicated her career to advancing equity, inclusion, and leadership in sport and recreation. She's currently the executive director of Calgary Adapted Hub powered by Jumpstart, an initiative that connects children and families experiencing disability with quality, inclusive sport and recreation through partnerships with local organizations. Jen also works as a project lead with INclusion INcorporated and as a program consultant with Canadian Women and Sport. As a master learning facilitator with Sport for Life and a certified NCCP Facilitator, Jen brings inclusive and developmentally appropriate approaches to sport leadership. She holds a bachelor of kinesiology in adapted and therapeutic physical activity, a bachelor of education in secondary physical education (University of Calgary) and is pursuing a master of education in physical education and wellness (University of Alberta).
