What Alexandre Despatie and Canadian kids have in common

As the London Olympics were beginning, CBC Television’s The National presented a two-part feature story that pivoted on B2ten. Active for Life is a social enterprise by B2ten.

The first part of the story focused on Canadian diver and medal hopeful Alexandre Despatie, who benefited from support from B2ten as he recovered from injury and prepared for the Summer Olympics in London.

B2ten also helped swimmer Brent Hayden, who recently won a bronze medal in the 100m freestyle, as documented in the article, Rebuilding Brent Hayden, by sportswriter Cam Cole.

The second part of The National’s feature on B2ten highlighted Active for Life, and our efforts to help parents make sure their kids are physically literate, something that will set them up for healthy and successful lives.
