Meet Mikael Kingsbury, mogul skier
Mikael Kingsbury is a mogul skier from Saint-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec. He won his first World Cup event at just 18, in 2010 in China. At the last Olympic Games in Sochi, he won the silver medal, sharing the podium with teammate Alexandre Bilodeau who won the gold that year. Since then, he has dominated the World Cup circuit.

- He has been freestyle skiing with his parents since he was 4 years old and joined the Mont-Saint-Sauveur Club at 8 years old.
- He always wears the same sweater in competition, with the inscription: “It’s good to be the king.”
- He is the only man to have won both the moguls and dual moguls World Championship events, and has won more medals at the Freestyle World Championships than any other man, having won a medal in each of the six events he has competed in.
