Skateistan, founded in 2007, is a non-profit organization based in Kabul, and is the skateboarding school behind this inspiring video.

It’s incredible to see the positive changes that are happening all over the world, as more and more girls are given opportunities to learn, develop skills and have fun.

Their confidence and joy are contagious. And they are very competent skaters. I want to get a skateboard for every girl I know!
